From Last-Minute Booking to Grand View Memories: Shambhu’s Romantic Vietnam Journey
Last updated: July 13, 2026
Planning Shambhu and his wife’s Vietnam getaway was one of those exciting moments where everything comes together in a short amount of time. Their booking was truly last-minute, but their enthusiasm for discovering Vietnam was immediate and contagious. At My Viva Tour, I love helping travellers turn spontaneous decisions into unforgettable journeys, and Shambhu’s couple was a perfect example of that.
From the very first message, I knew the key was acting fast while still ensuring everything was perfectly arranged. Last-minute trips require more than just quick confirmations — they require constant communication, flexibility, and full attention to detail. I stayed closely connected with Shambhu throughout the process, answering every question promptly and making sure he felt supported at every step.
One of the things Shambhu later shared with me was how much he appreciated my responsiveness. He kindly mentioned that I seemed to work “24/7,” always replying on time and never leaving him waiting. Hearing that meant a great deal, because my goal is always to make travellers feel cared for and confident, especially when plans come together so quickly.
Their journey followed our Grand Tour of Vietnam, designed to showcase the country’s most iconic highlights from north to south. It began in Hanoi, where the charm of the Old Quarter, bustling streets, and rich cultural atmosphere created an unforgettable first impression. The couple quickly fell in love with the city’s energy, flavours, and history.
From there, they traveled to the breathtaking waters of Halong Bay — one of the most magical parts of Vietnam. To make their experience even more special, I arranged an upgrade from a 3-star cruise to a 4-star cruise, including a stunning Grand View Room. Shambhu absolutely loved it. Waking up to panoramic views of limestone islands and enjoying the comfort of the upgraded cabin became one of the highlights of their entire trip.
As they continued south, central Vietnam brought them to the timeless beauty of Hoi An, where lantern-lit evenings, peaceful streets, and delicious local cuisine created moments that felt almost cinematic. The couple enjoyed the slower pace and romantic charm that Hoi An is so famous for.
The journey also included Da Nang, offering a perfect balance of coastal relaxation and scenic adventure, before continuing onward to the vibrant atmosphere of Ho Chi Minh City. Finally, the peaceful waterways and cultural richness of the Mekong Delta provided a beautiful closing chapter to their Vietnam story.
What made Shambhu’s trip especially meaningful for me was not only the destinations, but the trust that formed so quickly. Turning a last-minute booking into a seamless, unforgettable journey is exactly what My Viva Tour stands for — personalised care, thoughtful upgrades, and genuine hospitality.
Helping Shambhu and his wife experience Vietnam in such a special way was truly a pleasure, and I look forward to welcoming many more couples on adventures of a lifetime.
